Practice Focus
As a health care attorney, Mr. Kaufman represents small businesses in a wide variety of business and commercial litigation matters. These matters include leasing and real estate purchases, the purchase and sale of businesses, contracts, employment issues, employment litigation, insurance, and commercial disputes. Mr. Kaufman has also appeared before numerous state and federal courts, arbitration panels and administrative forums.

Publications/Speeches
Mr. Kaufman channels his experience as a health care attorney into being both an author and a lecturer. He frequently lectures on business and employment issues at institutions such as Johns Hopkins Hospital, University of Maryland Hospital, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, University of Maryland Dental School, Temple, and Howard University Dental Schools. Many different types of private groups and professional associations have also requested his appearance as well.
He is a member of the Publisher’s Advisory Board for Doctor of Dentistry magazine and is a former adjunct professor of law at Stevenson University in Baltimore, Maryland.
