Practice Focus
Alison K. Noll is an estate planning attorney who assists individuals, families, and small business owners with all of their estate planning needs. Ms. Noll prepares comprehensive estate plans, including all types of revocable and irrevocable trusts, each specifically tailored to her client’s individual needs. Her practice also includes estate and trust administration. She occasionally serves as executor and trustee on behalf of clients as well as representing executors, trustees and beneficiaries in fiduciary litigation matters.
Ms. Noll also advises business owners, from formation and corporate governance to business succession planning including the purchase and sale of small to midsize businesses. In conjunction with her representation of businesses and individuals, she frequently counsels clients on real estate matters, her expertise having developed in conjunction with her background of handling residential real estate settlements and title issues.
Ms. Noll's primary concern in counseling estate planning clients is communicating advice to them in clear and simple to understand terms while fulfilling her clients’ goals which can range from estate tax minimization, avoiding probate, identifying guardians, and establishing trusts for minor children to protecting assets from creditors.

Points of Distinction
Ms. Noll served as the co-chairperson for the Wills, Estates, and Trust Section of the Fairfax Bar Association from 1996 to 1998. She was named to the “Top Lawyers” list for Estate Planning in Northern Virginia Magazine (September 2011.) She has participated in pro bono work, including the representation of victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and
families of the victims of the Washington Navy Yard shootings. Ms. Noll was also named to Washingtonian's "Top Estate Attorneys" listing in 2012.
Activities
Ms. Noll dedicates her time to community service involving youth, including serving on the board of directors of the Madison Community Youth Alliance, coaching girls’ soccer and volleyball, and teaching at the church she attends.
Previous Work
Prior to joining Offit Kurman as an estate planning attorney, Ms. Noll was the managing partner of the Estate Planning practice at the law firm of Peterson Noll & Goodman, PLC where she spent the first 19 years of her law career.
