Mr. Yumkas participated in numerous construction-related mediations and has received special mediation training, which includes a forty-hour skills-based training program. He also serves as counsel to the Baltimore chapter of the American Subcontractors Association.
Publications/Speeches
Mr. Yumkas was a contributing co-author of “Construction Business Handbook,” (McGraw-Hill, 1978) and co-authored “Mechanic’s Liens,” (Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers, Inc., 1978). He also taught a course on construction law to various design and construction groups. Mr. Yumkas is a frequent guest lecturer on construction issues for several professional and non-professional groups.
