Practice Focus
Mr. Cannon's practice is focused on the representation of landlords and property managers of residential and commercial real estate. This representation includes the drafting of leases, fair housing compliance, and all litigation associated with leasing business, including tenant holdover, breach of lease, and wrongful detainer actions. Mr. Cannon also handles Housing Conditions cases, Tenant Petitions and all types of Administrative matters in the District of Columbia Courts and the Office of Administrative Hearings. In addition to landlord representation, Mr. Cannon handles complex litigation matters of all types, including business disputes, insurance coverage cases and personal injury matters.

Activities
Mr. Cannon is currently President of the Loyola University of Maryland Regional Alumni Board and is past President of the Catholic Business Network of Montgomery County. Mr. Cannon also serves as co-chair of the Jesuit Gridiron Classic Committee, on the Board of the Gonzaga Business Network, and on the Steering Committee for the Loyola Club of Washington, D.C.
Previous Work
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Cannon taught English at his alma mater, Gonzaga College High School, from 2001-2008. After law school, Mr. Cannon served as a law clerk to the Honorable William P. Green, Jr., chief judge of the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
