Practice Focus
Attorney Frances C. Wilburn’s practice focuses on commercial litigation involving real estate, commercial lending, secured transactions, property dispositions, workouts, foreclosures, commercial leasing, and general commercial matters. With experience representing both national and community-based lenders, she has provided legal assistance in connection with workout agreements, foreclosures, forbearance agreements, and the general pursuit of remedies in connection with loan repayment. Additionally, Ms. Wilburn has a background representing creditors as a bankruptcy lawyer, and applies this experience to all areas of commercial litigation.

Previous Work
Prior to bringing her experience in real estate law to Offit Kurman, Frances practiced commercial litigation at Friedlander Misler PLLC, in Washington, D.C., where she routinely acted as lead associate in commercial litigation cases. In law school, Frances served as a law clerk for MasTec Inc. as part of their in-house legal department and assisted with national litigation matters involving construction law. In addition, she interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office for the Felony Division Chief where she gained daily courtroom experience.
