Sochi 2014 Bobsled Team Spends A Night In Washington Raising Funds With Ted Offit And Friends

On Tuesday evening, Dec. 17th,  the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Federation held a most unusual fundraiser at the Fairmont Hotel in Georgetown. Organized by Ted Offit, a Federation board member and managing partner of the law firm of Offit Kurman, a law firm that serves businesses throughout the mid Atlantic region, the fundraiser connected 185 would-be donors with the medal-winning U.S. Olympic Bobsled team, who will be competing at the Sochi games in February, just seven weeks away.  Said Offit, “Washington has many fundraisers, but not like this one.”  An example of its uniqueness:  One of the items auctioned off was “The Olympic Bobsled Experience,” which will include a trip down the 2002 Olympic bobsled track in Park City, Utah and is valued as “priceless.” Click here to read the entire Washington Post article.
