Maple Lawn, MD — Brian Loffredo, one of the North America’s premier franchise attorneys with the law firm of Offit Kurman, has been elected chairman of the Maryland Franchise and Distribution Law Committee of the Maryland Bar Association. He will serve a two-year term, and his responsibilities will include overseeing committee meetings and educational seminars, and working with committee members to foster discussion and collaboration among franchise and distribution law attorneys. The franchise committee is a committee operating under the Business Law Section of the Maryland Bar Association.
Brian is a commercial litigator with more than thirteen years of experience representing clients in the franchise industry. He routinely assists clients during the licensing and franchise/FDD review process as well as with the resolution of franchise-related disputes, including those involving terminations, territorial disputes, fraud, disclosure/relationship law violations, and breaches of contract.
