Offit Kurman’s Joseph Bellinger Appointed Bankruptcy Trustee Of Saslow Homes

Maple Lawn, MD | June 13, 2011

Joseph J. Bellinger, who serves as head of Offit Kurman’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights practice, has been appointed as the Bankruptcy Trustee for Saslow Homes.

Saslow Homes, which was established in 1995 and operated under a unique “design build approach,” ceased operation in February. Under the Chapter 7 process, the bankruptcy court has ruled to allow Bellinger to market and sell the final house completed by Saslow Builders, located in Baltimore County’s Worthington Green.

Bellinger hopes to make maximum recovery for the involved creditors, listing the finished property for $2,750,000.  By court order, the lender is prohibited from foreclosing on the property through the end of 2011.
