OFFIT KURMAN WELCOMES NEWEST EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY JONATHAN GONZALEZ TO THE FIRM

Offit Kurman is pleased to announce the addition of Jonathan G. Gonzalez to the firm’s Labor and Employment group. Gonzalez comes aboard as an associate whose practice is focused on employment litigation, labor law, and employment counseling.
“As the chairperson of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice, I’m thrilled that Jonathan Gonzalez has joined our practice. We are quite fortunate that Jon has relocated his practice from the west coast where he obtained a wealth of valuable labor and employment experience in a relatively short period of time,” says Howard Kurman. “We look forward to Jon making an immediate and substantial impact on our department and on our firm.”
Skilled in handling traditional labor relations matters, Gonzalez has represented companies in front of the National Labor Relations Board and frequently represents companies in litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings. Additionally, he routinely counsels companies on all aspects of the employer/employee relationship, prepares a wide variety of employment-related documents, and conducts sexual harassment and labor relations training sessions.
“As I continue to develop as an attorney, I felt it was best for my career to join a firm that was growing at a rate that would afford me the opportunity to broaden my practice, yet still retain the ability to pay close attention to clients which I learned through a wonderful experience at a smaller firm,” Gonzalez explains. “Offit Kurman was a match for that desire.”
Midway between Baltimore and Washington, Gonzalez will be based out of the firm’s Maple Lawn, MD office.
