For the fifth consecutive year, Ron Ogens, Chair of Offit Kurman’s Family Law practice has been recognized by Super Lawyers as one of the top attorneys in the Maryland and Washington, DC area.

A true honor, Super Lawyers is designed to recognize lawyers who have attained a remarkably high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  With no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state selected for inclusion, making the list is no easy feat. The multi-phase selection process includes in-depth research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.

Among his many accomplishments, Ogens is Past President of the Maryland Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an association of the nation’s top matrimonial lawyers.  He is a certified Family Law Arbitrator (AAML) and serves as a Court Appointed Family Law Mediator for the Circuit Court for Montgomery County.

Ogens, a regionally renowned lecturer, frequently presents Continuing Legal Education seminars on key issues such as attorney-client privilege and changes in the practice of Family Law.
