Offit Kurman Attorneys Elected to Leadership Positions at the Fairfax Bar Association
Tysons Corner, VA | August 6, 2013 – Offit Kurman attorneys Douglas R. Kay and Thomas W. Repczynski have been elected to serve as Vice President and Secretary respectively on the 2013-2014 Fairfax Bar Association (FBA) Board of Directors. The officers’ terms will run from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.
Douglas R Kay, Principal in the Business Litigation Practice Group at Offit Kurman, will serve as the FBA’s Board of Directors’ Vice President for the 2013-2014 year. Mr. Kay has been an active member of the Bar, having served as Chair of the Legislative Committee, and on the Judicial Screening and the Law Library Committees. Doug has been a member of the FBA’s Board of Directors since 2008 and previously served as Secretary and Treasurer.
Thomas W. Repczynski, a Principal in the Bankruptcy Restructuring Practice Group at Offit Kurman, will serve as the Secretary of the Board, having previously served as its General Counsel. Mr. Repczynski’s past involvement with the FBA includes serving as Chair of the Law Library Committee, and participation in the Budget and General District Court Committees. Tom has been a member of the FBA’s Board of Directors since 2009.
