Offit Kurman Attorney Mike Mercurio represents ExpressCare in Merger with LifeBridge Health

Fulton, MD | October 31, 2013LifeBridge Health, one of Maryland’s largest and most progressive health care systems, and ExpressCare, Maryland’s fastest growing and second largest urgent care company, have  joined forces to form a new partnership. The partnership became official October 1. “With the addition of ExpressCare, Life Bridge Health is well positioned to provide the most comprehensive continuum of care model in the state,”  commented Lifebridge Health president and CEO, Neil M. Meltzer.

ExpressCare operates 10 urgent care centers located in Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Cecil, Carroll, Harford and Prince George’s counties and  plans to open four more in 2014. LifeBridge Health, the corporate parent to Sinai and Northwest Hospitals, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital and Courtland Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, serves more than 340,000 patients and residents a year. LifeBridge Health has served patients from every county in Maryland, all 50 of the U.S. states and over 80 countries.
