A litigator who balances his time between the state and federal courts, VerStandig dedicates the majority of his efforts to Offit Kurman’s commercial and employment practices, where he works extensively on the negotiation and litigation of intricate and multifaceted matters. With a background heavy in bankruptcy work, Mr. VerStandig is skilled in the strategic valuation and monetization of complex assets, and applies that knowledge to all areas of his practice, from matters of retail finance to marital dissolution cases to traditional insolvency proceedings.
Shafrir concentrates her practice on Civil Litigation, with a focus on the representation of residential and commercial real estate holders. This representation includes drafting of leases, policy and procedure drafting for Fair Housing Act compliance, non-payment litigation, work-out agreements, and lease assignments. Additionally, Ms. Shafrir handles complex litigation matters of all types.
Forgues focuses his litigation practice in construction, bankruptcy, and commercial landlord-tenant actions. He provides critical insight and support in all stages of the litigation process, including discovery, pre-trial disputes, and dispositive motions.
