NSP ENHANCES CYBERSECURITY SERVICES WITH ACQUISITION OF SUMMIT SOLUTIONS, LLC
Fulton, MD | January 20, 2012 – Summit Solutions, LLC has been acquired by National Security Partners LLC, a service provider to the intelligence community, Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
Founded in 2002, Summit Solutions is a woman owned, veteran owned small business and was recognized on the Washington Technology Fast 50 list as one of the fastest growing small businesses in the government market. Summit Solutions provides services to the federal government in such areas as strategic planning, cybersecurity and intelligence systems engineering. Financed in part by Fed Cap Partners, LLC a Reston-based private equity group that exclusively invests in small and middle market government contractors, the acquisition follows and complements NSP’s acquisition of Point One LLC, a cyber analysis and mission support provider.
“The parties had tremendous synergies from the outset of the transaction. The nature of the mission, culture and personnel of Summit Solutions matched the blueprint desires of the acquiring party. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
