Offit Kurman attorney Laura Rubenstein Obtains Mediation Certification
Baltimore, MD | January 2013 – Offit Kurman attorney Laura L. Rubenstein has obtained her Mediation Certification through the Maryland Bar Association. Ms. Rubenstein has also been accepted as a member in good standing of the Maryland Program of Mediator Excellence (MPME).
The MPME was created four years ago through a collaboration of the MD State Bar Association, the Maryland chapters of the Association of Conflict Resolution, ACR), The Maryland Council for Dispute Resolution (MDR), Community Mediation and Maryland Mediation and Conflict Resolution Office (MACRO) and is coordinated by MACRO. The program has as its major goal to assist Maryland Mediators in providing high quality services for their clients. Acceptance into the MPME assures clients that the mediator has attained a high level of education and experience and commits to abide by the Standards of Conduct for Mediators as adopted by the MPME and cooperate in good faith with the Mediator Ombuds Program.
